This is an “oval” shaped doily that has 20 rounds.
I made using two different hooks. 1.75 mm hook the finished size was 17” x 14”. Using a 2.25 mm hook the finished size was
18” x 15”. I do not crochet tight at all, but not loose, pretty average I think. So if you crochet tight the finished size will be smaller.

It took less one ball of Aunt Lydia’s to do either size hook I used.

It is named Emerging because I felt it looked part dragonfly (center wings), and part butterfly emerging out.
