Emilio Monkey the Ami
The amigurumi is fast and easy to make and will make any children happy.
The pattern is written in English, using American crochet terminology, and includes US/UK conversion charts for both stitches and hook sizes.
It is full of hints, tips and photos that help you along the way.
For beginners instructions of basic crochet stitches are provided.
Emilio requires minimum sewing. Head and body are crocheted as one piece, whereas the limbs are joined following the thread jointing method (explained in the pattern). I have used fishing line for attaching the limbs, in alternative you may use the same yarn of the monkey.
Difficulty Level: intermediate.
Skills required are sl st, sc, hdc, dc, color change and increase/decrease sts.
Finished Size: if done with cotton fingering yarn, 2.5mm hook, it is 18cm (7”) high w/o ears and 9cm (3.5”) wide. This may vary depending on the yarn and hook size you decide to use.
If you happen to have any questions during the execution of this pattern please feel free to contact me through this website or through the contact details included in the pattern.
