The scarf is inspired by a piece from “Emily in Paris” series. This model looks best in mohair or other fine yarns with an obvious halo.

The size of the finished scarf is 29 x 170 cm.

As it’s knitted on 8 mm needles, the process is quite speedy.

The hardest thing here is intarsia, but it’s just changing the yarn colours, so I’m sure confident beginners can do it. Otherwise, it’s just stockinette and garter stitch (knits and purls).

You’ll sometimes need two strands of the same colour yarn, just find both ends of the yarnball.

I’m very happy with the yarn I used. It’s very soft and comfortable to work with. If you have access to Sandnes Garn Alpakka, totally recommend. You can, of course, use another yarn.

Please, take photos of your finished scarves! Let’s make a collection of colours and visions.
