Emily Jean Collection
Emily Jean is my heart.
I designed this as a stepping stone project I could recommend to my knit shop customers who were ready to move beyond beginner.
I had made copies of the stitch pattern instructions and I would hand write how many stitches to cast on and what needle size, as determined by the knitter’s own gauge. This went on for two years until I finally decided to publish and give it a name.
The namesake Emily Jean is my good friend who is so supportive of me and is will always be near and dear to my heart.
This patten has many options and each one gives the design a different perspective. You can knit the cowl with or without the contrasting color, but the color, I believe really gives it a touch of class.
The ‘skinny’ necktie version is my daughter’s favorite.. it’s pretty special when your 25 year old sends you a text that she wants one knit up for herself.
The large wrap is beautiful knit up with 4 skeins! With a totally reversible pattern, you can’t go wrong with this!
Every row is knit 2x, the pattern is written and charted.
