The Emily’s Garden design was created with my granddaughter in mind, using an ultra-soft 100% polyester, worsted weight yarn. The blanket is composed of 20 crocheted flowers and (20) 8” squares, woven into the back loop of each flower center. Size can be increased or decreased by adding or subtracting the number of 8” squares constructed. The photo features 4 colors for this design, but it can be created with 3 colors by substituting color D (flower centers) for color C. I used a 4mm hook in the construction, and an approximate 216 yards (1 skein) of Color A polyester yarn per 3 squares. The colors included in the pattern are sage green, mauve, charcoal grey and black. You will need no more than 2 rolls of color B and C, and will likely not use more than 1 and half of each - if that much. However, I have scaled up on the yardage as a precaution against gauge and tension variations by the individual crafter. The Emily’s Garden Design includes a separate pillow pattern (not included with this pattern) and a Combo pattern with a slight discount (also separate). You can find all of these in my store.
