8 inch square - pattern in American terms

This free download is intended as a charity square. This means that by downloading it, you are bound by crafting honour to use it to spread the warm fuzzies to others.

Please consider using the pattern for one of the many charities that are actively looking for woolly contributions. Here on Ravelry, the group The Eastern European and Russian Orphanages Project is looking for squares for their winter blanket appeal. As these squares are thicker and warmer than they might first appear, they would probably make some child very happy, especially in bright and cheerful colours (please note: I would recommend using a different background colour, as white gets grubby very quickly.)
