Emma
This is the sister pattern of my Nunna blanket. The main difference — it is only a triangle. Here too I have composed an entrelac pattern of rectangles and squares in 2 different sizes. The inspiration comes from Latvian textile tradition.
The shawl starts in one corner with one square. The size of the garment is adaptable as you work, depending on the yarn of your choice and intended recipient. It has lovely scalloped edging that complements shawl geometry.
This is the simplest of my multi-shape entrelac shawls. If you wish to knit something similar but more challenging, look for Anne.
