Emma Felt shoulder Bag
This Beautiful curvy felted bag is big enough for everyday use, and tough enough too!
I have written this pattern in 2 versions-
Circular ( in the round) or Flat ( 2 needles stocking stitch) so you can choose which method you prefer.
My clear and detailed 9 page pattern contains instructions for-
Knitting the bag in both circular or flat versions.

This bag is knitted first in pure wool and then felted in an ordinary washing machine.
Any felting yarns will work well for this pattern-Look to see if the yarn is called a felting/ filz wool.
Most suppliers will say if it is good for felting but always check for hand-wash only!!

2 Options for approx strap length
Standard shoulder strap 102cm (40”)
Longer across body strap 140cm (55”)
BASIC SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS PATTERN.
Stocking stitch - knit one row then purl one row.
Inc- increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and then into the back of stitch
k2tog -knit the following 2 stitches together as 1 stitch.
SUITABLE FOR- Confident beginners or Intermediate knitters. If you can do stocking stitch and follow a pattern I explain the rest as you go along.
