This angelic sweater is an excellent introduction into the wonderful world of lace knitting. Although the design is simple, this elegant sweater is versatile and can be worn over an eye-catching dress or with jeans.

DIFFICULTY: Intermediate. The sweater is worked from the bottom up. The fronts and back are worked in one piece to the underarms. Skills used are yo, k2tog, ssk, p2tog, p2tog-b, increasing and picking up stitches.

Yarn: Elann Peruvian Baby Cashmere – 7 (9, 10, 11) skeins
Fiber content: 60% Baby Alpaca/ 30% Merino Wool/ 10% Cashmere
Yardage: 765 (910, 1055, 1200) yds
Gauge: 28 sts, 36 rows per 4” in st st.
Needles: US 3 (or any needle size that gives correct gauge)
Notions: 4 stitch markers; 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn, 3 hook and eye closures
