The Emmalyn Earflap Hat is a basic earflap hat that can be worn for mild or colder weather as it can be made with or without a liner. The liner will make the hat double-thick and extra warm. When made with the liner, the hat is reversible. You may choose to use a contrasting color for the liner and turn it inside out to wear to coordinate with different jackets. It is suitable for a boy or girl and can be made in any color combination.

The instructions are written for an advanced beginner and instructions on how to do the decrease stitches are included. The hat will use less than one skein each of 2 colors of yarn and a small amount of contrast for the edging.
