Emma's Sunflower Buddy
Isn’t it funny how some things feel like they are meant to be. I adore sunflowers, tall, strong, they follow the rays of the sun throughout the day and just make me feel good when I see them. A few years back during lockdown I ran a series of Monday Makes classes on Zoom and Emma’s Sunflower was borne. Made and named for the lovely Emma, a Flo’s Crafty Crochet regular it can be made into a blanket, coaster, bag etc the list is limitless. You can find the pattern for free here.
Fast forward to this week and I had been playing about with keychains again thinking of the end of the school year season when I received a very interesting email from Phillippa. Phillipa is a children’s author and has previously released ……… and lo and behold but she was now releasing her latest work….. You guessed it…. EMMA’S SUNFLOWER. I couldn’t believe it! A delightful picture book filled with nature and helping your little one to learn their colours and counting. You can pre-order Phillipa’s delightful new book here or give her a follow on Facebook
So, I got to thinking and came up with this! Emma’s Sunflower Buddy. The perfect little sunshiny keychain companion.
Made from scraps of DK cotton it is a super quick and easy make! Suitable for beginners with a step by step guide.
Any queries please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to help :-)
Pattern is free to view on my blog.
