Emmeline Victorian Shawl
The Victorian Emmeline Shawl is a lovely and feminine wrap that is very easy to make. It uses a very simple and lacy open shell stitch repeat pattern for the entirety of this project.
This is a great project for beginners.
This pattern is written in US terms (British terms in brackets).
Size of the finished shawl: 12” (30 cm) x 59” (150 cm)
For this project you will need:
700 grams of Fantasy Yarns 4 ply/fingering yarn 50% bamboo & 50% cotton yarn (purchased from Etsy) / or any DK/Light 3 yarn of your choice and preference
A 3 mm crochet hook
A pair of scissors
A tapestry needle
This crochet shawl is part of my Vintage Crochet Series and makes a great prayer shawl too. It can also be crocheted in a different weight size (such as a light 3 or Medium 4 yarn for example), just makes sure you use the matching crochet hook size as indicated on your preferred yarn.
This pattern is 5 pages long, and features lots of step by step explanations and the link to a full video tutorial.
This easy project can be crocheted in the space of a week-end, and makes a perfect present.
Pattern will be available for instant download upon purchase.
I hope you enjoy it!
Happy crochet and thank you for stopping by!
