For a flash of contrast plain red yarn has been used to cast on these cute, feminine socks so they’d look great with a pair of bright red heels. The beading on the lace motifs stops at the ankle giving a more comfortable fit when worn with shoes and whilst the lace continues on the top of the sock, a slip stitch detail provides a defining outline to the stocking stitch sole. Worked from the top down with a Turkish or afterthought heel.

Pattern instructions are given for two sizes:
S/M size to fit 21 cm ( 8 ¼ in )foot circumference, M/L size to fit 23 cm ( 9 in ) foot circumference, length is 18.5 cm ( approx 7 ¼ in ) from cast on edge to base of heel
