These little cuties take a tiny amount of cotton yarn so, although I recommend some of my favourites, any DK cotton yarn in appropriate colours will do and you can bust a bit of your stash.

The circles are super easy and the features are a bit more tricky so I would recommend this pattern for a confident crocheter. Beginners might prefer to cut out felt shapes for the features rather than tackle the fiddly stitches of the smaller parts.
