There is no pill for a lot of things that can make life quite complicated. Understanding and compassion is a wonderful boost for all these things. A sweet message, a nice card, understanding words. Or an Emotional Support Pill. Not to take (I’ll just say that), but to look at or hold. Nice when things aren’t going well. And especially when things go wrong all the time.

What would you put on an Emotional Support Pill? What would you like to say? What would you like to hear? Put your message on a piece of fabric and give your handmade pill to someone you love and want to support. That means you can also make one for yourself!

The pill is about 16 cm long. You can make it larger or smaller by using thicker or thinner yarn (and a matching needle).

Yarn in White and Contrast color (use yarn intended for needle 6) approximately 25 meters per color
Crochet hook size 3.5
9mm safety eyes
Filling
Small piece of fabric (no stretch)
Black embroidery thread
Embroidery needle
