A little buddy designed to resemble an emperor penguin. You will need two main colors to represent the black and white on a real penguin, and a tiny bit of a third one to represent the orangey-red on the beak. Some black for the eyes is also suggested, unless you would like to use buttons or pins.

This pattern is 10 pages long and contains images to help visualize what is fully described by the text.

It isn’t size sensitive, so while the suggested hook and yarn weight are 4.5-5mm and worsted, you should be fine mixing up the size of your buddy using any recommended combination of yarn and hook.

Also contained in the PDF is this link (no affiliation), which leads to a crochet technique that helps to maintain the best look and texture possible, but using it is optional.
