Welcome to Emsian Cowl!

Although you don’t have to knit many purl stitches, Emsian Cowl is a cowl with look of reverse stockinette stitch, broken with stripes in contrast colour(s). Emsian Cowl is knitted inside out. And it goes well with Emsian Hat!

YARN
This cowl is knitted with sport weight yarn. I recommend something more rustic. I used De Rerum Natura Ulysse (185 m (202 yd) / 50 g).

There are one main and three contrast colours:
MC (red): 150 m (164 yd)
CC1 (yellow): 40 m (44 yd)
CC2 (dark blue): 40 m (44 yd)
CC3 (light blue): 32 m (35 yd)

You can make changes in number of contrast colours. For example, all of yours contrast colours could be in the same colour! Or you can use the same colour for CC 2 and CC 3.
