Emu and Chicks
Emus are large flightless birds, with powerful legs that carry them p to 40 kilometres per hour and deliver a dangerous kick in defence. They are found over most parts of Australia except in rainforests. After laying her eggs, the female leaves them to the care of the mail, who incubates and then looks after the chicks.
