Emume Bolero
Emume (ee-moo-may) means “Celebration” or “festivity” in Igbo.
I love the way this turned out! I’m very happy with the yarn choice on this one as well…it’s so soft and light. Any baby yarn or sport weight yarn should work well for this pattern. I’ve worn this to work over a sleeveless blouse and Im looking forward to wearing this in the cooler months as well. This project didn’t take as long as I thought it would and not as much yarn…barely used the 3rd skein.
Beginners should not shy away from this pattern, there are lots of helpful pictures included!
