En Pointe Raglan
Very feminine without frills, this top down raglan pullover will be a graceful addition to any wardrobe. It can be made with or without the ribbon lacing at the sides and sleeves, but is easy to personalize by changing up the colors.
After working a 3-rnd neckband in seed stitch, the raglan shaping begins, along with short-rows to shape the front neck. Worked mainly in stockinette, this piece knits up quickly, including waist shaping.
Simple lace panels are added at each side of the body which is divided above the seed stitch hem to work a 2”/5 cm slit.
The sleeves are worked in the round with a narrower version of the lace panel worked at the center of each sleeve. Below the lace panel, a few stitches are increased for a slight bell shape to the cuff before working the cuff in seed stitch.
To finish, use a ribbon or ribbon yarn to thread through each of the lace panels. Make sure to use a ribbon without wire edges.
