This two skein shawl was designed to showcase the VA Blue Ridge Yarn Crawl 2024 color, dyed exclusively for The Knittin’ Coop, located in Salem, VA.

It’s also great for using two skeins of stash yarn or stash remnants for the stripes! Lots of possibilities
It used about 90g of the main color and 60 of the cc but if your gauge is different, you may use more or less.

Gauge on US3 (2.25mm) needles
Unblocked: 31 sts x 42 rows, 4”
Blocked: 22sts x 40 rows, 4”

Knit top down and using fairly uncomplicated stitches with lots of texture, this lightweight shawl is easy to make larger by repeating sections and perfect for knit groups, and tv/movie stitching. It uses a nifty edge to help keep it from getting too tight and ends in a cute contrast color picot bind off for a bit of frill.

I will be adding video tutorials for a couple of the interesting stitches that I put into the pattern. There are written instructions currently and as always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
