Enchanted Moor Socks
These socks are part of the Brontë sisters collection of patterns, and inspired by the beautiful moors surrounding their family’s home. As children, they spent much time exploring them and playing out the stories they made up there. I like to think that these socks would have kept little Anne, the youngest of their group, cozy and
warm as she followed her siblings on their creative journeys!
As part of our collaboration, Tippy Tree Yarns has prepared a Brontë sisters collection of colourways that go with my collection of patterns, launching June 19 2024. Visit her website here:

There are 2 versions of the socks included in this pattern: the Weekday socks (with a textured band at the top of the leg and a ribbed foot) and the Weekend socks (with all over texture). Please note that the needle sizes and other requirements might differ depending on the version you choose to knit!

Yarn and notions:
Version 1: Weekday version (textured band at the top and flat rib foot)
Yarn: 1 skein 100g (400-450 yards) Fingering weight, and a 20g mini skein
Sample in Tippy Sock, from Tippy Tree Yarns
Colourway: Anne Brontë combo
Needles:
Cuff and flat rib section: 2.25 mm with a long cable for magic loop
Texture band: 2.5 mm needles (see note below) with a long cable for magic loop (or
use your preferred needles such as 9 in circulars or dpns).
* This section of the pattern features cables which tend to make knits a little
tighter. I went up a needle size to 2.5mm for that reason. If you are a naturally
tight knitter, you may wish to go up to 2.75 mm.

Version 2: Weekend version (all over textured)
Yarn: 1 skein 100g (400-450 yards) Fingering weight (with optional 10-20g mini)
Sample in Tippy Sock, from Tippy Tree Yarns
Colourway: Anne Brontë combo
Needles: 2.5 mm needles (see note below) with a long cable for magic loop (or use your preferred needles such as 9 in circulars or dpns).
