This is a free pattern, with written and photo instructions, available as a ravelry download.

This rainbow headband’s base is crocheted directly around a 1/4” headband. The pattern can be easily adjusted to fit any length of headband. The “rainbow” curls are then crocheted directly onto the black base.

For a little extra fun, optional instructions are given to add golden clover leaves using Aunt Lydia’s 10 Metallic Crochet Thread and hook size B/1-2.25mm.

For the remainder of the headband I used a small amount each of Red Heart Anne Geddes Baby sports weight yarn colors #112/Night-Night, #902/Lady Bug, #261/Tangerine, #226/Bumble, #691/Green, #827/Blue Jay, #556/Purple.
