JOIN the Endless Night Shawl KAL group (Feb 1-28, 2019)

Lace panel on a squishy garter background… lovely.

There is so much depth to the simple garter stitch. Used as a backdrop to a lace pattern makes the shawl so much fun to
make and wear.

Pattern updates 1/27/19

1) Errata: Decrease Section 5 has an error. Please see update below

2) Yarn Substitution: If you have more yarn yardage or using a different gauge than recommended, work Sections 1-3 until you have about 40% of your yardage remaining, then start Section 4.

3) Want to use up more yarn: Want to use up more yarn, once Section 5 is complete, work more repeat of the stitch pattern even over rem 13 sts (without decreasing further) until you have enough yarn to work the final Garter Section… or skip the Garter Section and work until you have just enough yarn to BO.

4) Chart added: I’ve added a chart of the center stitch pattern for those who prefer that method.

Work sideways, this shawl plays with increases and decreases on a garter stitch background with a fun lace pattern at the center as the focal point.

Use stitch markers to keep track of the center lace pattern.
