Enez Brannec sleeveless top
Knitting a sweater sounds like a big project, involving a lot of yarns, skills and time. with the shaping and calculating can be intimidating. What if we can knit with simple square shape, minimal calculation, and basic techniques? If you are a beginner or just looking for simple, brainless project, this might be the answer for you.
You will be knitting back and forth on straight needles and basically making rectangles then sewing the pieces together to create a garment. It s called flat panel construction and is similar to a sewing pattern. Rather than cutting the pieces out of fabric and piecing them together, you will knit the pieces just the right size and then sew them together.
Enez Brannec is knitted in pieces sideways from the right to the left. then seamed together. The body is worked in garter stitch and stockinette
It’s a very simple, boxy pullover, sleeveless top or poncho like with no shaping and strait wide neckline.
With its short sleeves and a slit at each side, this sweater is as simple as it gets.
