This is my Engelbert Elephant Superfast knitting pattern. As with all my Superfast patterns, the technique uses 8 mm needles and works out four times faster than ordinary knitting. Engelbert Elephant is a giant. He is 40 cm high and 60 cm long yet only took me a couple of days to knit and make up.
I chose to make him with some grey mohair wool I had bought really cheap on Ebay and you can use any dk of your choice so he does not have to cost a fortune to make. Just make sure you have plenty of stuffing in stock!
