English Country Cottage Knitting Pattern - Experienced Knitters
The house is only 10cm x 10cm and knitted in pink to represent English roses. The base has a pathway and flower beds stitched with French knots. The hedges are knitted in garter and stocking stitch in a green that looks glorious in sunny English gardens. I live near the Grand Union Canal and always enjoy a visit to walk the dog. Outside the museum, delicious ice creams are available in the summer, and in winter, there is a warm pub for drinks. The village and canal of Stoke Bruerne are the inspiration for this design.
