Enie Cardigan
Notes: A cute cardigan which can be worked colourful, tonal or solid.
Main part is knitted in stockinette stitch. Garter stitch is used for neckline, hem, buttonband and cuffs, lace motif beside raglan seams, ruffled collar, gently, puffy upper sleeveparts, O-shaped body and rounded longer back.
With all these details it’s a fun knit with a lot of variety.
It’s started on the top with the neckline, then the yoke part with the raglan increases is worked, you put the sleeves on separate holders, go on with the body, shaping the longer back /rounded hem with short rows. Pick up the stitches for the collar and shape the ruffled through increases. Pick up again the sleevestitches and work them in rounds. At least pick up stitches for the buttonbands.
Skills: medium level; knit in the round, top down, increases, decreases, working (German) Short rows.
