The more I use the tapestry crochet technique, the more I love it. I’ve been wanting to create a full tapestry hat for over a year now, and I finally decided to do it. I. Love. It. If you never tried tapestry before, I got your back. The pattern contains a photo tutorial, and I also filmed a video tutorial for you. I promise, if you go one stitch at a time, you’ll succeed.

This pattern is using US terms.

What does this pattern contain:

• The written instructions to complete your own Enigma hat
• A grid for the motif section
• A photo tutorial to learn how to change colours
• A link to a video tutorial explaining the tapestry crochet technique (french video with english subtitles available)

What are the sizes included:

• One size for teen or adult (fits head of 21 to 23 inches of circumference) 53 to 58,5 cm

What is the difficulty level of this pattern:

• Intermediate. There are no complicated stitch, but the tapestry crochet technique can be intimidated. While everything is explained thoroughly, I don’t recommend this to a beginner (if you are a beginner but would like to try tapestry, I suggest my Midnight hat, available here on Ravelry!) However if you are not a beginner crocheter but a beginner tapestrer, this can be done with a bit of patience!

For this pattern, you will need to know:

• how to chain
• how to make a single crochet
• how to make a double crochet
• how to make a front post and a back post double crochet
• how to work in the round
• how to decrease
• how to complete a colour change (explained in the pattern)
• how to carry your yarn

Plus je fais du crochet tapisserie, plus j’adore ça. Ça fait un moment que me hante l’idée de faire une tuque en tapisserie uniquement, et j’ai enfin décidé de me lancer. Je. L’adore. Si vous n’avez jamais essayé le crochet tapisserie avant, je vous couvre. Le patron contient un tutoriel photo, et j’ai également filmé une vidéo pour vous. Je vous promet que si vous y allez une maille à la fois, vous réussirez.

Que contient ce patron:

• Les instructions nécessaires pour compléter votre propre tuque Enigma
• Une grille pour la section du motif
• Un tutoriel photo pour la technique du crochet tapisserie
• Un lien vers une vidéo tutoriel expliquant la technique du crochet tapisserie

Quelles sont les tailles incluses:

• Taille unique pour ado ou adulte (pour les têtes de 21 à 23 pouces de circonférence) 53 à 58,5 cm

Quel est le niveau de difficulté de ce patron:

• Intermédiaire. Même s’il n’y a pas de mailles compliquées, la technique du crochet tapisserie peut être intimidante. Et même si tout est très bien expliqué, je ne recommande pas ce modèle à un débutant (si vous êtes un débutant et vous voudriez essayer cette technique, je suggère d’essayer mon modèle de tuque Midnight, disponible ici sur Ravelry!) Cela dit, si vous n’êtes pas un débutant au crochet mais un débutant au tapisserie, ça peut être fait assez facilement.

Pour ce modèle, vous devrez savoir:

• comment faire une maille en l’air
• comment faire une maille serrée
• comment faire une bride
• comment faire des brides en relief avant et arrière
• comment travailler en tours
• comment faire une diminution
• comment compléter un changement de couleur (expliqué dans le patron)
• comment faire suivre votre laine
