In the augmented reality game “Ingress,” the Enlightened seek to progress humans along their evolutionary path through art, music, science and education. The Enlightened Eye logo represents represents the vision of the Shapers and the quest to heal all of mankind through their influence.

I knit this hat on a US size 8 (5.0 mm) 16” circular needle. However, I knit rather tightly, so you will probably need to use a US size 9 (5.5 mm) needle to obtain the same gauge of 20 stitches per 4” in stockinette.

You can use any worsted weight yarn of similar gauge for this pattern, although I really like Simply Soft for this project due to its softness, durability, and the bright green Limelight color.
