The Enneagram is a model of nine personality types that looks at the entirety of a human’s existence. Type 3s on the Enneagram are called The Achiever. At their healthiest, threes are self-assured and attractive. They are passionate about their advancement in their careers and their hobbies, and this drive leads to a desire to feel valuable and worthwhile. This sock features a lacy motif along the side of the sock, symbolizing a Type 3’s desire to distinguish themselves from others, as well as a simple eyelet pattern that I chose to symbolize the mindfulness of a Type 3 to other’s opinions of them.

If you want to learn more about the Enneagram, I include several resources at the end of the pattern. I also created a playlist of songs on the last page that helped inspire this pattern. I hope you enjoy knitting to them as much as I did!
