♫ The Music ♫
Maids of Enniskerry O
“The old folks say they came one day.
A band of faeries reaming O
From every hand a magic wand shone brilliant in the gloaming
They plucked a flower from every bower
And a stone from every berry O
They laid it down and built a town and called it Enniskerry O!”

Weave a bit of magic of your own with these closed-ring cabled socks!

Beginning with a French toe (shaped in 3 equal sections), closed-ring cables travel up both sides of the instep while the sole and centre of the instep are worked in Stockinette stitch. The short-row heel cap means no picking up stitches and the heel is worked in a traditional slip-stitch pattern. The instep pattern expands into cables that travel up the side of each leg. To accommodate the pattern stitch, the ribbing height varies between sizes.

Both charts and written directions for charts are included.

Knitters need to be able to read their knitting, i.e. identify knit and purl stitches as they present themselves, to work Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off or use an alternate stretchy bind off.
