Update - Friday July 1st: DONE! Final 5th Update sent out with Stitch Chart (4th photo here) included as the full 4th .pdf page.
Feedback always welcome and appreciated.
reddit.com/r/craftivists welcomes you.
Update - Wednesday June 29th: Stitching and stitch chart making are complete! Chart Minder free version rocks. See photos for a sneak peek and feel free to share it freely. It will be the full 4th page and final step of the 4-page .pdf pattern in progress.
Once photos of the finished hat are taken and uploaded in the next day or two, I’ll send out the final published Update out to everyone.
Update - Saturday June 25th: Anger stitching re: yesterday’s Roe reversal.
Optional letter-edge embroidery complete with Whip Stitch I think it’s called.
Once the dark red circle is complete the easy breezy final step will be filling in between the black lines with duplicate stitch (just surface embroidery with yarn needle) in dark gray tweed of the same brand as this pattern’s light gray tweed, Tatamy Tweed DK.
On a next version I’d do initial crown increases every three rows rather than every two to line it up better.
Always interested in your thoughts, constructive criticism, ideas, suggestions for free patterns like this one, etc.

Update - Friday June 17th: ‘Enough KAL Step 4’ complete with stretchy bind off written up is now uploaded and shared.
Progress photos go up a few hours up to a day or two prior to the published Step updates.
Thank you to 100+ of you for downloading!!
Update - Thursday June 16th: Four photos are uploaded for beginning the surface stitching called duplicate stitch with a yarn needle.
This is Chart #1 of 3 total that will go around the hat with the other two containing the assault weaponry that is most frequently deadly to innocent civilians.
Update - Wednesday June 15th: We have bind off! The hat part itself is complete and looks fantastic even just like this.
Slight setback yesterday with having to tick back four rows to add a missed double increase and their subsequent rows, see photos.
Two new assault weapon charts for three different ones around the hat are coming soon.
Will likely have an end-of-hat-structure update uploaded and shared today or tomorrow. ❤️
Update - Monday June 13th: ‘Enough KAL Step 3’ file uploaded and shared, bringing us through row 67 where we are widening the brim after a decorative band in Moss Stitch.
After this pattern, I’ll make the same image stitch charts that will be here (an assault weapon one is next) into another free published pattern upload for a very easy rectangle cuff bracelet with two snaps in fingering weight yarn using needle size around US #2.
Update - Sunday June 12th: A stitch chart will be made for assault weapons as well. Thank you Ravelry user smilingturtle in the comments for the excellent idea.
Regarding handguns all, the movement is not at all for self-defense weaponry to be taken away--rather just to be MUCH better regulated such as with improved background checks.

Update - Saturday June 11th: ‘Enough KAL Step 2’ file uploaded and shared!
New: Gauge info is in, large stitch chart image is in, and row stitch counts edit from prior update is complete.
If anyone needs me to take the time to make the stitch chart more clear with full color in the StitchFiddle chart program, do let me know.
Update - Friday June 10th 2022: End of row stitch counts for Step 1 rows 1-12 posted yesterday should be multiples of 12; so 12, then 24, 36, 48, etc. This will be corrected with the Step 2 Update today or tomorrow.
Photos are continually being added to show steps that will be in the next published .pdf update.

This pattern is and will always be free forever once it exists.
Enough is a KAL (Knit-A-Long), my first one ever, with file updates released live in real time as this design progresses over the next couple of weeks or so.
Use and share this stitch chart .pdf image freely wherever and however.
A bucket hat pattern is in the works with this End Gun Violence image.
This can be done in either intarsia (still hard for me to manage so far) or duplicate stitch (easier to correct, is essentially surface replication with yarn needle like embroidery).
The symbol will occur either once or three times around the hat, not sure yet.
Follow along as this design is created in real time right now in June 2022 beginning today, Thursday June 9th.
Each step will be added to the .pdf file as we go.
Photos will update and this Notes field here will also have an update as each new step is completed.
That’s it!
Much love for Ravelry which has been here for many of us through some hard times.
