As I sit here knitting this #ENOUGH Hat, I feel a sense of comradery and purpose. After the October 1st, 2017 Las Vegas shooting, there was a surge of urgency from the nation and I was hopeful for change; gun reform was at the forefront of every one’s minds. In our world of online media, distractions (whether important or not) can quickly advert our attention, and we lose our focus, only to have this nightmare repeat itself over-and-over again. The recent shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida was a jolt back into this topic. Let’s stay in this space, until changes are made for the safety of our children & teachers, our friends & families.
