This is the ninth sock of a year-long “Club” of patterns. The entire collection includes 12 sock patterns (plus a few bonus items), representative of different world cities. Skill-level: Intermediate— cables, beads, and sock construction, but there are also rest rows.
Yarn: 350-400 yards of sock yarn. The socks pictured are a medium size and used approximately 365 yards of Tuulen Tytar from Louhittaren Luola in the color “Laguuni.”
You will also need approximately 100-150 size 6/0 seed beads in a complementary color
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles, the pattern is written for both DPNs and Magic Loop.
Tools: Beading needle (or dental floss, if you prefer), cable needle, if necessary, tape measure, scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rounds per inch (2.5cm) worked in stockinette.
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large sizes measure approximately 8(9,10,11) inches in circumference, all other measurements are adjustable to size and preference.
Note on sizing: The cables pinch in a bit. If in doubt or between sizes, please size up.
