Enshroud
Light and airy, yet able to wrap completely around you, Enshroud is surprisingly quick to knit and can be worn in so many ways.
Materials:
Note: The sample shown uses black (Midnight) as Colour A, and grey (Sterling) as colour B. One strand of Colour A in Merino Fingering Singles is held together with one strand of Kid Mohair/Silk Lace througout the entire pattern.
Northbound Knitting Merino Fingering Singles: Colour A, black (Midnight) 400 yards, Colour B, grey (Sterling) 400 yards.
Northbound Knitting Kid Mohair/Silk Lace: Colour A, black (Midnight) 400 yards, Colour B, grey (Sterling) 400 yards.
Size US 13 (9 mm) needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Tapestry needle
Scrap piece of yarn
Gauge:
3 sts=1” in stockinette stitch
Abbreviations Used:
K=Knit
RS=Right side
WS=Wrong side
St(s)=Stitch(es)
K2tog=Knit two stitches together
Kf&b=Knit into the front and back of same stitch
W&T=Wrap and Turn-Bring yarn to the front, slip one stitch from left hand needle to right, bring yarn to the back and slip stitch back to left hand needle. Turn work and bring yarn to the back. (Or W&T method of your preference.)
