Entomology Collection mosaic square - Luna Moth
It’s rumored that this mysterious moth only comes out at night under a full moon. I’ve never seen one in person so I thought I’d crochet one to look at whenever I want - you can too!
This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, totes, place mats, wall hangings, etc.
Please note: current PDF has general instructions along with the chart, but does not yet have the written row-by-row instructions - those will be added at a later time.
Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I normally use yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”. This comes out to approximately 4 oz of yarn, total.
Pattern is in US crochet terms.
