How to knit baby bootees in stocking stitch
entrelac pattern in the round:
small diamonds worked on the bias, each picked
up from the sides of the one below.
Use double pointed needles or circulars; long
colour change yarn or solid colours in stripes.
This pattern is written for 4 ply fingering or sock yarn such as Regia Design Line Sock,
Heirloom 4 ply Baby Wool or Naturally Magic Garden Classic Prints 4 ply; and also for
thicker yarns such as Noro Silk Garden Sock or Crystal Palace Mochi Plus. However any
similar thickness yarn that matches the given gauge/ tension squares can be used.

Two gauges depending on yarn used:
Using Heirloom 4 ply baby wool or Regia sock
or Naturally Magic Garden Classic Prints 4 Ply:
29 sts, 37 rows to 10 cm (4”) in stocking st on 3 mm
(US 2.5) needles.
Using Noro Silk Garden Sock or Mochi Plus:
24.5 sts, 32 rows to 10 cm (4”) in stocking st on 3.5
mm (US 4) needles.
