Entrelac Trompe L'Oeil
by Jill Ramos
Jill Ramos writes “My inspiration for this sweater came from an entrelac class I took with Kathleen Power Johnson at Camp Stitches last June. I thought it would be fun to design an entrelac piece where the placement of the colors formed a design - in this case a cable. The stitch pattern I used also helps emphasize the design. If you haven’t tried entrelac before, this is a good design to start with because the entrelac portion is small. It’s also a good travel project because the front is knit in three pieces.”
