Make knotwork in crochet!

In this doily, the braids are made individually before being woven together. Then the braid edging is crocheted to join them.

This is a 30 page pattern, with over 200 photos - I have made it as clear as possible at every step. However, you will need a lot of stitch markers (even if they are just pieces of contrasting thread!) to keep track of where you are.

Gauge: 17 rows of shell braid measure 4” long.

You will need:
1.5 mm hook
30 stitch markers
Size 10 crochet thread in the following colors:
• 120 yds white
• 50 yds blush
• 75 yds pink
• 45 yds dark pink
• 50 yds coral
• 70 yds dark coral
• 60 yds burgundy
