What you will need:

• Must Stash Perfect Self Striping Sock (lots of it) or any fingering weight yarn that you need to knit up

• Needles - 2.25mm (US 1) if this idea gives you an eye twitch/headache just use whatever size needle gives you a fabric that you like and keeps your sanity intact

Skills needed:

This simple cowl is stockinette in the round. You should be able to:

• Knit from a recipe- not a step-by-step, hand-holding pattern but more of a list of suggestion on how you can knit a cowl like we knit
• Cast on with a provisional or long-tail cast on
• Knit in Stockinette stitch
• Kitchener Graft
• Duplicate Stitch
