Epic Quest Square
This square is designed to be part of a planed for but yet to be designed series of squares inspired by a card game that my family enjoys playing. The game involves many houses that each have their own feel, land, and characters. This square is inspired by a house full of knights and castles, blinding lights, and glory.
This is an advance pattern but there are photographs included for almost every round of the pattern.
The square finishes with 160 stitches (40 per side), when made in fingering weight yarn with a 3.5 mm hook the finished square is approximately 8 inches. If made in aran weight yarn the finished square would be about 12 inches.
For my example square I used 65 grams of Scheepjes Catona, in five colors:
13g - Midnight (527)
16g - Electric Blue (201)
13g - Cornflower (511)
10 g - Lemon (280)
13 g - Lemon Chiffon (100)
