Eppie Bonnet
by Nikol Lohr
Inspired by Eppie from Silas Marner.
“The accordioning ribs expand the bonnet’s range of sizes, and each size really has the wiggle room to fit the next size up or down. Though the design is most striking in two colors, it’s awfully sweet in a single color as well. And it’s also an excellent vehicle for a small amount of a special handspun. Use the handspun as the MC color to showcase the color and texture on both the knit and the purled surfaces.”
