Equilibrium Shawl
Pattern has been tech-edited. It is currently being test-knit and will be available for download in November 2021.
About this pattern
This light and airy shawl is named after Orange Flower Yarn’s beautiful “Equilibrium” colourway. Drawing loosely from Faroese construction, the shawl begins at the top with an I-Cord tab cast-on, and ends with a picot bind-off. In between you will work an airy “Zigzag Lace” pattern, a chunky cable braid, and a section of two-colour brioche ribbing. Adding beads to the picots is optional, but who doesn’t love a bit of bling?

Pattern Notes
This pattern uses a light sport weight or heavy fingering yarn with a gauge of approximately 25 sts when worked in stockinette. Fingering weight yarn would also be a great choice, but note that yardage and finished dimensions will be different than stated in the pattern.
