This design was inspired by the Vernal Equinox – the first day of Spring and one of the two days of the year when day and night are equal. This pattern features alternating open (light) diamonds and solid (dark) diamonds. Yarnovers create lace diamonds in an alternating pattern with stockinette diamonds resulting in an open, airy, contemporary interpretation of an argyle design. The heel flap features a reverse stockinette diamond design. The lace work makes this an ideal Springtime sock that is not too warm and when knit in a beautiful Spring colorway is a great addition to any Spring wardrobe. Instructions are provided for multiple widths. Foot length is customizable. Enjoy!
