Erg
There’s nothing quite like snuggling up in a big scarf on a chilly day. And with my Erg knitting pattern, you can certainly knit that big scarf! But it’s not just any big scarf – the soft cable textures create a feeling of extra cosy warmth, perfect for those cold, wintery days.
Erg, the newest addition to my Dune Collection, is the first pattern to showcase the wonderfully warm, cosy texture of aran yarn, whilst retaining the collection’s signature Sand Cables and chevron stitch.
The magic of this pattern unfolds within its central panel. Soft, meandering cables gracefully flow, increasing and decreasing in size, creating a sense of travelling across a dune with its ever-changing ridges and dips. In fact, the pattern’s name translates as “dune sea” in Arabic.
This easy-to-follow pattern is both relaxing and engaging, making it perfect for knitters of all abilities. It offers a gentle introduction to cable knits for beginners seeking a slight challenge, while providing enough detail to keep seasoned knitters entertained. And whether you knit Erg for yourself or as a gift, you can be sure it will become a cherished addition to any autumn/winter wardrobe.
Happy knitting!
