Eric Cardigan
This pattern is recommended for intermediate skill level.
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up, with the body worked in one piece, back and forth, then the sleeves worked separately in the round, and joined to the body at the armpits.
Cuffs, collar and button bands are worked in 2x2 rib, with short rows to create depth at the back of the shawl collar.
This is a lovely cosy cardigan for the Winter & Christmas season.
The snowflake and tree colourwork stitch pattern is charted.
DK yarn required, 50g balls 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5) plus 1 ball or small qty of contrast yarn for trees and snowflakes.
Buttons: 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6)
DPNs recommended for sleeves (or magic loop)
