This listing is an original pattern to create your own cute Eric the Elephant! He is a sweet little thing and has lots of friends to create as well to keep him company.
Eric measures approximately 14cm (5.5 inches) from top to bottom when made with an 8 ply (US Light Worsted / UK DK) yarn and a 4mm crochet hook.

You will need:
hook: US G (4.00 mm)
yarn: DK acrylic yarn. I used DK Special by Stylecraft, but any double knit can be used.
140 metres (50 grams) I used DK Special by Stylecraft (Shade: Lincoln).
Small amount of black yarn for mouth
stitch marker
tapestry needle
safety eyes 9mm (embroidered eyes can be made as an alternative)
toy stuffing
