ERICA (the Italian name of heather) is inspired by this winter little plant and its flowers.
Erica (heather) is known for surviving from snow and cold winter weather. Legends say fairies sleep among its branches.
This hat is worked bottom up, from brim to crown.
Size: one adult size - circumference 21”-22” (53 - 56 cm)
Yarn : Fingering di TUKUWOOL 100% wool (195 meters / 50 grams) or any other fingering weight yarn to obtain gauge
colour A : 90 m
colour B : 60 m
Gauge : 23 sts x 40 rnds / 4” in pattern after blocking
Needles : circular needle 16” (40 cm) and 40” (100 cm) for magic loop (or double pointed needles) for top of the hat -
US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 5 (3.75 mm) or as required to meet gauge
Notions : 1 stitch marker, darning needle
