Erigeneia in a rectangle
This pattern is for a rectangular version of the Erigeneia shawl. This rectangular shape is my idea and an adaptation to the triangular original. You can now make an Erigeneia scarf, rectangular stole or wrap.
The triangle-shaped Erigeneia was designed by the very talented Silke Terhorst (Maschenzähler designs). All copyright to the Erigeneia pattern lays with Silke. Silke gave me permission to write down the rectangular version.
The pattern contains options to vary width to scarf, stole or wrap width.
The length can be made upon your own liking. You start this pattern in one corner and end in the opposite corner. No long beginning chain!
This pattern can be made with any yarn: from lace to worsted, from solid to variegated yarn. You might even play with mohair or use different types of yarns together.
Pattern is written and charted. The chart in this pattern is also by Silke. Isn’t she the best! Please check out her other wonderful designs
